29 September 2011 - FIGIEFA Congress

Thursday 29th of September 2011 saw the hosting of the FIGIEFA/SDCM Congress in Warsaw, under the auspices of the Polish Ministry of Economy and Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency. The Congress brought togehter 220 participants around the theme of "What future for the automotive aftermarkt". 

At this occasion, Mr. Philippe Jean, Head of the Automotive Unit at DG Enterprise & Industry, clarified the European Commission's interpretation of the of access to Repair and Maintenance Information (RMI) provisions of the recently adopted Regulation 566/2011.

16 September 2010 - Automechanika 2010: “Business World Meets the Law Makers” Right to Repair Campaign Conference

At the occasion of the 2010 edition of Automechanika Trade Fair in Frankfurt, and within the framework of the Right to Repair Campaign, FIGIEFA and EGEA co-organised a conference entitled "Business World meets the Law Makers - The Legal Framework for a Competitive Automotive Aftermarket in 2010 and beyond".

In light of the recent adoption of the new competition law framework for the automotive sector and of the new developments in vehicle technology, it is an appropriate moment to explore the direction in which the aftermarket will evolve in the next years.

15 May 2009 - FIGIEFA Congress

FIGIEFA held its 2009 Congress in Istanbul in partnership with YPG, its Turkish member. The main Conference featured the themes: "Global trends in the automotive aftermarket in light of the economic crisis" and "The automotive aftermarket and future (r)evolutions in car technology"
